myAir Customer Insights

1. I did go out of town and my signal was not great, but that location allowed me to still see them during a previous visit as well as being back home.I've been using this app for almost a full calendar year with no problems, as of 6/4/23, it stopped recording data and states it "hasn't received data from your machine for some time".

2. It seldom ever matches the readout on the cpap display, and when it DOES choose to display data, it takes FOREVER to upload it after the machine had been turned off.

3. finished for the night.The data is sparse compared with what other sleep-tracking apps record, and it's unnecessarily slow at syncing data (especially since it's already on the device itself & you can connect via Bluetooth).

4. What's the point of a Bluetooth connection if it can't sync data between the CPAP and app locally?App was working great the first week I used it.

5. None of the numbers match what the machine says, so i have ZERO faith in the accuracy of this data.

6. I do appreciate the guidance and data included in the app, though.Worked great, could have been better.

7. My expectation must've been too high for the experience.Originally my app was working with little to no issue, sometimes it takes a bit for my machine to show recent results.

8. $2000 for a machine from which I cannot get data is leaving me incredibly frustrated.

9. For 2 days I have been unable to download data.

10. It has been several days and the remaining data was never uploaded.

11. Today in particular the app has an unusual lag in data, but in general - the app itself should better prepare users for the usual 1-hour delay and should include a notice when service or app changes may cause further delays.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myAir Issues

1. Fix myAir Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myAir: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myAir App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myAir" » Open myAir™ by ResMed » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myAir » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myAir™ by ResMed app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myAir servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myAir™ by ResMed" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myAir app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myAir might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myAir. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myAir then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myAir not working


2. Fix myAir Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myAir be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myAir not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myAir may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Reported Issues

  • Stopped receiving cellular service on airsense 11(slash over bars) signal shows 4 bars. Happened on Sep 2 same day it says last synced. Currently connected to Bluetooth but still no data showing on app. Was working fine sin March in same locations my cell number is +18508429544 please call or email solution or update app.

  • I have used the myAir for a couple years on an android phone. I tried to use the app today and received a message that I needed to update my app to proceed. I went to the app store and it said I had the current version and the only choice was to open, from there I got the same message. I uninstalled then reinstalled, but received the same message to date the app to proceed. Is there another trick to get the application to work again? Please let me know.
