My Customer Insights

1. I need helpQlink my phone is not working properly it's always using all the data up when I don't have any apps down loaded,I make a as few phone calls as possible a month and text when I have to, I can't use my alarm clock on my phone anymore and some times I don't get hear the phone ring or get a call.

2. I understand this is a free gov't phone & am very grateful 2 have this but these are simple issues.04-01 - data switched from LTE to E then just stopped working.

3. No way to speak to someone in the phone.This phone comes with so many pre-loaded and unnecessary apps that cannot be deleted so there is no storage space to add any apps I would actually want to use.

4. Of course I could PAY for more space on my "free"phone! My first phone's screen froze for good after only 4 months, then I had to pay for this one.

5. My data isn't as fast, but it doesn't randomly cut off as it did with the old (Sprint) SIM.For starters, I haven't had really any issues with the service of Qlink.

6. I try to connect to check my balance and usage frequently and I keep getting the message that the app is unable to connect because there is no connection even though I'm on a secure WiFi connection.

7. Also, why is it that if c/s can't answer a question like a better way 2 get 2 an actual human than going thru a bunch of auto options, they just hang up & it goes 2 survey??? Of course I'm not going 2 give a good rating if you just hung up on me.

8. Constantly drops calls and doesn't connect to internet while on a call.

9. I feel like I should go and purchase a new phone and plan with an entirely different company.

10. And it keeps on going, not even scratched up!For the price💛😁It's irritating that the app doesn't work on WiFi.

11. Seriously, beggars can't be choosy! And this freaking Hot Pepper phone is a tough SOB.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Issues

1. Fix My Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My" » Open My Mobile Account » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Mobile Account app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Mobile Account" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My not working


2. Fix My Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
