1. The remote control option for your gate access goes haywire and doesn't work if you have 2 units in the same storage address as the original Bluetooth code won't stop transmitting when the newer code is needed to open doors.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Public Storage Issues

1. Fix Public Storage Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Public Storage: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Public Storage App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Public Storage" » Open Public Storage » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Public Storage » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Public Storage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Public Storage servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Public Storage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Public Storage app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Public Storage might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Public Storage. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Public Storage then reinstall.
