(theres a paid 'pro' version too) super easy to use, full control over settings and I just figured out after months of using you can whitelist your camera button so you don't have to turn the camera guard off n on when you want to take a picture! I don't EVER review apps but it's so obvious someone/Multiple someones put in a huge amount of thoughtfulness/effort/time into this thing I couldn't NOT acknowledge it.

2. Nice!Update: 6-14-23 The only problem I have with this app is sometimes it will close for no reason!! As long as I notice it closing I can go back in the app and turn it back on!! I also just noticed it is not recognizing it tells me it's the Wong pin!! Any ideas as to what to do about it?? Maybe uninstall and reinstall?? Let me know what you think!! ✌️❤️🙏💯😀I've enjoyed several apps from this company for the better part of 5 years and have been extremely satisfied with the functionality until recently when I updated to an Android 11 and now the cam blocker doesn't seem to work as it has previously.

3. In the end I had uninstall both apps to be able to switch my camera & microphone back on.I really love this app! So, easy to and understand.

4. Having said that, until these past few events, the app has been totally reliable... and who can argue with Ad-Free? Great app!Great security on your phone so that apps and people are not able to look at you.

5. Other apps are able to access the camera when the blocker is on and also it seems to switch itself off intermittently.

6. Sorry but unfortunately this app is failing me lately.This app provides a valuable Service in that it blocks access to your camera by other spps that try to grab a shot while you are unaware, log each incident and with the pay plan have real-time and on demand scanning for spooks.

7. Support was always very responsive to any questions I had except when I ask why they would turn off by themselves.Great but I guess it's not compatible with Android 11, as at some point my camera was completely disabled and I couldn't turn it on at all any more.

1. Restart Camera Blocker & Guard: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Camera Blocker & Guard App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Camera Blocker & Guard" » Open Camera Blocker & Guard » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Camera Blocker & Guard » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Camera Blocker & Guard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Camera Blocker & Guard servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Camera Blocker & Guard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Camera Blocker & Guard app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Camera Blocker & Guard might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Camera Blocker & Guard. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Camera Blocker & Guard then reinstall.
