1. I've attempted to contact the developers of this app! Your app caused problems to my main camera feed! Either you keep in regular contact with me or refund my purchase?I can't remove the ad that is stuck in the top of screen, the company has closed and there is no support for updates of the app.this app does work for a few of my cams but many are not in the list even though they are all wanscam cameras, just newer camsHave tried a few and this has been the best...+++ just wish they would add more wanscam models as I have 10 cams but can only use 4??? Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Viewer Issues

1. Fix Viewer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Viewer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Viewer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Viewer" » Open Viewer for Wanscam IP cameras » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Viewer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Viewer for Wanscam IP cameras app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Viewer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Viewer for Wanscam IP cameras" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Viewer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Viewer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Viewer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Viewer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Viewer not working


2. Fix Viewer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Viewer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Viewer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Viewer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
