DasherDirect, Customer Insights

1. For "perks", I would love to see an improved restaurant discounts section for contractors ... it seems DoorDash would be easily able to work out good deals for their drivers, with some of the many, many restaurants they have relationships with throughout the country.I love the DasherDirect card! The cash back savings I get is amazing... as well as the other perks... like having a built in piggy bank! It makes it easy to save without even thinking about it too much.

2. It still wastes a lot of my time unnecessarily because I don't want to do a 2 step verification just to check my balance.My experience with doordash is generally just as frustrating as any service work, but the schedule flexibility and the perks have made it a much better option for me than any other job.

3. I find that feature to be very helpful.The perks of getting a little extra for using it as a gas debit card along with get upside is great.

4. I can't say I work enough hours to really utilize a lot of the perks, but I do dash pretty regularly, and it's alot better with the dash direct app than without.Doordashing is cool as a gig to make extra money for groceries or pay down on some debt.

5. But you can also set it to automatically put a set amount aside into a "goal" (savings account), earn rewards like Cashback and discounts on food and even gas if you use the card, which is essentially a debit card from DoorDash.

6. Super convenient app overall! Sure there are always little things that can be improved or added, but overall, having access to DasherDirect has been really convenient and useful for handling my payouts.

7. My only complaint is that it says you can use it like a regular debit, but everytime I try to use it online (food apps, Amazon, other online retailers) it gets declined.

8. A quick balance option would be great because I get paid per job and can do up to 5 in an hour.

9. I need to purchase a new device to be able to check my account balance.

10. Love my money right away.Very useful, and perhaps necessary app to use if you use DoorDash to deliver.

11. For those who have android and want a balance update without signing into app, I would recommend adding a widget to your home screen with your balance.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DasherDirect, Issues

1. Fix DasherDirect, Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DasherDirect,: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DasherDirect, App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DasherDirect," » Open DasherDirect, by Payfare » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DasherDirect, » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DasherDirect, by Payfare app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DasherDirect, servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DasherDirect, by Payfare" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DasherDirect, app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DasherDirect, might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DasherDirect,. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DasherDirect, then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DasherDirect, not working


2. Fix DasherDirect, Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DasherDirect, be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DasherDirect, not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DasherDirect, may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I am requesting a deletion of only my DasherDirect account with the email alec38506@redacted. I am doing so because I have since changed my legal name and therefore would like the account to reflect that but there’s not a way to change the name on the account and it won’t let me create a different account

  • I need the dasherdirect acct with this email deleted. The doordash application with this email did not get activated. I started a different doordash account with a different email and now it won't let me sign up for dasherdirect because of this account here
