1. I use Bluetooth to pair it with the stereo at the gym so the whole class can hear "get ready to start your 12 minute workout" - "exercise!"Well worth every penny! For the last four years, I've been doing strength workouts using videos as guides, and, rarely, writing out what exercises I want to do and how many reps and sets to do of each.
2. App also keeps my phone from locking the screen to keep timer visable, but if I wanted I could be in other apps like Spotify and the workout keeps going which is great for changing songs on the fly.
3. Par for free apps, ads are annoying and the paid version is $20, but we'll worth it, IMO, for all the additional features it offers.This is a very good app , it provides all the tools for your tabata workout.
4. Correct this issue and I would give it five stars.I tried several HIIT timers and tabata timers to find a simple tabata timer that worked right out of the box and could easily be modified and customized for any HIIT workout.
5. Bonus that it syncs with my music and bluetoothIf you're looking for an app with time intervals (for ex: 1 minute workout 1 minute rest), this is a great app.
6. Plus, I believe in supporting developers of apps this good...now if you could just incorporate a gps feature to detect milage, it would be perfection.correct me if I am wrong, but this app does not work correctly when the screen is turned off.
7. Its great! Shows the times with tones as you work out, I don't even have to check the time on my workout! The tones let me know when to stop and start back.
8. With heart rate monitor integration (paid version only) and huge numbers, I don't need wear my glasses, switch between apps or use a second device to track HR and intervals.

10. I've done tabata workouts before, but I've found other apps to be clunky and unintuitive when it came to setting up what I wanted to do.
11. User-friendly I love the ease of setting up the workout with number of rounds, rest periods, etc.
