1. I'd welcome possibility of adding shortcuts to each section/module.wow!! phone, android, physicists, i.t. enthusiasts, cell enthusiasts, hobbyists, technicians, graphic artists, land surveyors, photography, architects, engineers, video and audio production tech's and hobbyists will ALL LOVE this app!! I mean it!! God bless you pacmac, or whoever developed this app! I've never given such a positive review before and this app deserves it for sure!! AND NO ADS! :) THANK YOU!! This app does everything it claims to (at least on an android 7.0 Galaxy S8.) :-)This is one of the better apps that actually delivers it does what it says it does it's easy to read and it wasn't filled with a lot of annoying ads it's one of the apps that I'm glad I found, I do read the reviews of most apps that I download but I still end up deleting most of them I'm going to keep this one.

2. Setting up a database of my phones and wanted an app that *exports* basic phone data (hey other "phone info" app devs--that includes the PHONE MUMBER!!), which this app does beautifully, except for the "Main Info" page that has the *serial number* (!!!?) WT? So have to use the Alphabet Labs' Device Info app (only copies one item at a time to the clipboard :-( ...why???) to add that last nugget to your otherwise wonderful report.

3. UPDATE: Apologies to pacmac for not replying sooner to his *very* prompt response and update! Leaving my earlier review up as an example to all the other device info apps to step up their game and provide both complete device data and report export features.

4. 🤪.No ads? Really? After scanning package for trackers I got presented with these results: Google DoubleClick Google Ads *Google Ads 32com.google.android.gms.ads.mediation. *Google DoubleClick 8com.google.android.gms.ads.doubleclick file:///data/app/com.pacmac.devicediag.free-1/base.apk Update.

5. It provides you more detailed info about the interior hardware of your phone not to mention other cool features.

6. I'm not sure what I would ever do with the info provided but I feel like I know my phone a bit better now.

7. I personally think I was targeted for having both this app and a pinging app plus my phone isn't Google Play Protect certified.

1. Fix Device Info Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Device Info: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Device Info App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Device Info" » Open Device Info - HW, SW » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Device Info » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Device Info - HW, SW app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Device Info servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Device Info - HW, SW" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Device Info app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Device Info might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Device Info. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Device Info then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Device Info not working

2. Fix Device Info Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Device Info be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Device Info not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Device Info may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
