About Jobulator Mobile

1. With the Jobulator mobile app, you can be notified of and accept substitute jobs that are available in Frontline Education's Absence Management system (formerly Aesop) right from your Android smartphone or tablet!

2. Jobulator is a subscription service that provides automatic, continuous checking and notification of your job offers in your Absence Management account, plus easy job acceptance.

3. Jobulator is the official companion to your Absence Management account (formerly Aesop), created and supported by Frontline Education, the makers of the Absence Management solution.

4. Jobulator Mobile is not intended to be a competitive advantage in getting jobs, nor does it increase the number of available jobs for the user.

5. Jobulator is the easy way for you to make sure you don’t miss a job opportunity, without being tied to your computer.

6. You must have an active Jobulator account to log into the Jobulator app.

7. The mobile app is free with your Jobulator subscription.

8. It is intended to be a convenience tool that provides notification and easy acceptance of available jobs in your Absence Management account while you’re away from your computer.

Jobulator Customer Insights

1. Developers have known about issue for a long while, but can't find a reliable fix.Ever since it did an update this fall, Jobulator for Android refuses to connect to the internet ("jobulator could not connect to the internet") every time I go from a Wi-Fi enabled environment (ie my house or the school I work at) to a cellular data environment.

2. FIX IT!The Jobulator app has been very useful until recently when the notification tone settings changed.

3. If phone loses connection with network (mobile or wifi) but reconnects, the app does NOT check for new connection, even if set to check for jobs every minute.

4. I have tried many different notification tones in the settings, but once it is set, the volume of the actual tone is extremely low.

5. I get alerts constantly telling me about new jobs and it's gotten to where I uninstall the app once a week just to get a break from the constant phone alerts that never go away.It's a must have app if you want to get the good jobs rather than be left with what no one wants.

6. Please bring back the original jobulator notification sound and loud volume that it had.

7. I have changed the settings to check every 30 minutes, and even tried turning off notifications (multiple times with many phone restarts) and it doesn't matter.

8. I have missed several jobs due to not hearing the notification sound.

9. I am getting 2 notifications each alert and the jobs seem to be already gone by the time the page loads.

10. it works more than it doesnt and I am getting jobs from it, but a lot of the time when I touch things it just doesnt respond.

11. Adjusting the notification volume on my device does not change the volume of the tone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Jobulator Issues

1. Fix Jobulator Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Jobulator: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Jobulator App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Jobulator" » Open Jobulator Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Jobulator » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Jobulator Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Jobulator servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Jobulator Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Jobulator app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Jobulator might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Jobulator. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Jobulator then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Jobulator not working


2. Fix Jobulator Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Jobulator be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Jobulator not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Jobulator may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Reported Issues

Note: Issues displayed have already been sent to the developer and are older than 7 days.

  • App indicates “unable to connect to server.” So, I logged out hoping to refresh & log back in. Now, App will not accept my saved pin. My pin has four numbers and a parentheses. I am unable to type in the parentheses in addition to my four number pin. Please contact me. 951-296-8127

  • I’m having great difficulty trying to: (1) get the free trial, and (2) create a Jobulator account.

    I have tried to use two separate email accounts that I own and all I keep getting is error messages. You have no support. There is no chat support, no telephone support, or nothing but error messages!

    This is such a frustrating app. How do I dump all the information I’ve provided and start from scratch?
