1. It's been a real pain to clock in and out of work because the app will sign me out and kick me to my home screen every time I try.

2. Love the new beacon feature that i can punch in and out without using time clock.

3. I've been having to punch in without location since that's the only way it will work.The app changes my password on me and locks me out with no warning.

4. For an app that is designed to to handle my time on the clock it's a little nerve racking when it's unable to know that it's 5 timezones off...Nice UI.

5. I've had it say that my punch was added but when my coworkers and I checked (we all clocked out at the same time, standing next to one another), it actually showed a missed punch the very next day.

6. Our old system of punching a clock was far superior to this system.I've enjoyed using the app while working in my Hometown my Hometown of North Carolina unfortunately unfortunately the app is convinced somewhere somewhere in Eastern Europe.

7. Would be beneficial to make the app go back to the home page automatically so that 1.) We can verify that the clock-in was successful and 2.) We don't risk punching twice and having to EMAIL IN CLOCK CORRECTIONSit's great when it works.

8. SAVE my dang settings! Why this was altered to make the app worse & less functional is beyond me... y'all owe me wages, & for this.We have to use Nova time at work.

9. finally works, again, but location has to turned on, app opened, 'more' selected, gps switched on in the app, THEN i can clock in.

10. Most times when I clock in and out it does record my time.

11. For previous reviewer, the app will not allow you to use finger print if you did not enroll and enable finger print to unlock your phone.Unable to sign in.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix NOVAmobile Issues

1. Fix NOVAmobile Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart NOVAmobile: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the NOVAmobile App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NOVAmobile" » Open NOVAmobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NOVAmobile » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear NOVAmobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NOVAmobile servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NOVAmobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check NOVAmobile app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NOVAmobile might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall NOVAmobile. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NOVAmobile then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NOVAmobile not working


2. Fix NOVAmobile Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NOVAmobile be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NOVAmobile not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NOVAmobile may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
