Neveo Customer Insights

1. what if you have no new pictures one month? you pay for nothing? Great concept but not practical.I absolutely loved this app, for years, literally years but the last 4 months I've been unable to add photos to my gran's journal.

2. To be honest as a user it often sucks! At times it takes ages to upload photos and sometimes, like eg today it seems it's going to upload the photos but the nothing happens, which is very annoying as I ended up wasting time and getting very irritated as it's the last day before the album is 'sealed 'Its really too bad, but I had to cancel.

3. There is no way to cancel the subscription even though it says cancel anytime.... Very irritating!!!Everytime I want to upload pictures from my phone, I'm stuck with the message that I need to install the app.

4. I tried to cancel it all they did was suggest asking for a refund EVERY MONTH I dont print out an album.

5. Finally, we can't see what we write.Amazing idea, and the practical side of things works very well! My grandma has received every album, they're nice quality and it always arrives on time.

6. If they can fix that, I'd be more than happy!So the ad lies there is a commitment as soon as you give them your card they charge you monthly EVEN if you dont pick ANY photos for an album.

7. Buttons often don't work, the swap function, if you want to move your pictures is quite odd and you can't even crop the pictures or choose which folder to search.

8. Edit: I upgraded from a two to a four because there have been some improvements with updates to the app.We love this service, our grandparents are so excited to receive their book every month.

9. But the website and app are terrible! They're slow, they sometimes don't save the changes you make, change order of photos (so have to rearrange them manually), rotate some photos for no reason etc... Please work on it.

10. Really Nice idea, but no option for picking a certain schedule, like every month is too much and way too expensive.

11. To give them credit, neveo have refunded the last 4 months of my payments which is great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Neveo Issues

1. Fix Neveo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Neveo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Neveo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Neveo" » Open Neveo – Family Photo Album » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Neveo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Neveo – Family Photo Album app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Neveo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Neveo – Family Photo Album" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Neveo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Neveo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Neveo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Neveo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Neveo not working


2. Fix Neveo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Neveo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Neveo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Neveo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
