MyJPS Customer Insights

1. No connectivity issue fixed in last update, it worked for a while, but now it's saying there are no accounts linked to my profile, I try to link an account but it keeps saying "we're unable to fulfill your request"App keeps crashing when I open the option to report an outage.

2. The payment function can be non-operational for weeks at a time.This app need fixing i have registered on this app for 6 days now and ALL NOW i cant get the verified code send to my phone.

3. Which is crazy because I do have the internetI like this App because I used to be able to select and pay towards multiple accounts as a sigle transaction, but now that option generates an error.

4. Review update: App been saying no internet for weeks now.

5. It keeps taking a dollar, when i add the amount it says "500 error" and crashesNot always reliable for making payments.

6. I was able to make application for electricity, make payment & lodge power outage complaints.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyJPS Issues

1. Fix MyJPS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyJPS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyJPS App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyJPS" » Open MyJPS » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyJPS » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyJPS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyJPS servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyJPS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyJPS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyJPS might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyJPS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyJPS then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyJPS not working


2. Fix MyJPS Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyJPS be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyJPS not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyJPS may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
