Metronome Pro Customer Insights

1. Only thing I wish it had was an independent volume control as sometimes I use it with other apps playing audio, and it would be nice to be able to control the relative volume between them, but it's not essential.Great metronome with a simple user friendly modern looking interface.

2. Being able to choose the different tempos, seeing the quavers, semi-quavers, breves come up as the beat is played, I feel I'm learning subliminally, without having to 'understand' what is being taught.Simple, intuitive, and does exactly what I need.

However, there should be more customisation option that will make it's usage very exciting and try and make the games interactive where you can play your turn actually with stick and pad , you know...to make it fun instead of playing on screen but THUMBS UP đź‘ŤI've used many, many metronome's and this works for me the best.

4. I downloaded at least 5 different ones looking for a good 3/4 or 4/4 beat to start playing my new cajon.

5. The paid version offers more but the free version has everything I was looking for.I'm not musical, been playing with this for about 20 minutes and now feel I've learnt a LOT.

6. The ability to choose notation values per beat is simple and easy to use.

7. +Clean ui.Not only is this a decent metronome, but it also has games to help you develop your timekeeping ability.

8. I guess maybe they're hoping you'll miss the "weekly" part and just assume it's a monthly subscription?OMG! It's so good that I just couldn't stop smiling when I began using it.

9. They want to bill you $7.99 a WEEK for the premium version of a metronome app.

10. The only gripe I have is that there is no option to prevent the screen from locking while the metronome is in operation.

11. I do feel like the tap Tempo is a little off, but maybe that's just me haha.This is the best free metronome app by far.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Metronome Pro Issues

1. Fix Metronome Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Metronome Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Metronome Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Metronome Pro" » Open Metronome Pro - Beat & Tempo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Metronome Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Metronome Pro - Beat & Tempo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Metronome Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Metronome Pro - Beat & Tempo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Metronome Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Metronome Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Metronome Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Metronome Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Metronome Pro not working


2. Fix Metronome Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Metronome Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Metronome Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Metronome Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I just downloaded your app and it says is free. But I got charged right away for $49.99. This is really scamming. I need my money back. I went to my email and I saw I a charge and I follow the link clicked on cancel but it does not have any response for it!!!

  • Hello,
    I tried the free version of the app for a while, and eventually signed up for the free trial of the full version. I anticipated a request to continue the subscription and didn’t realize that I was automatically being charged weekly for this. For that, I’m a little disappointed. Can we please discuss some reimbursement for the significant charges I’ve paid? Thank you for your time.

  • To whom it may concern,

    I am writing to see if it is possible to get a refund on my subscription. I accidentally downloaded (and paid) for the app, and have not used or intend to use it. Unfortunately, someone was playing with my phone.

    I have just accidentally downloaded and subscribed to the app today. I’d was a complete slip up for me and I was hoping to have my subscription cancelled and to see if I could be refunded?

  • I need a refund I downloaded the app and it charged me 60 dollars. It didn’t even ask if I wanted to be charged. This ridiculous and everyone else in the comment is saying the same thing.

  • I had down loaded an application called metronome pro to see how it works the app
    It some how purchased the app I immediately canceled the subscription but never received my money I don’t have any use for the app and would like my refunded thankz
