Pro Metronome Customer Insights

1. I would love to have a way to practice drum rudiments open-closed-open with a met, but it's impossible to even slow down the tempo over time, let alone speed up then slow down at once.Excellent app! I was looking for a metronome with a timer and this app does a great job combining the metronome with a timer feature.

2. I've used this app for 10 years and it's been flawless the whole time... Only problem is I recently switched from iPhone to Google Pixel 3a and there's something about the aspect ratio that makes it so I can no longer use the "show mode" feature in the playlists section.

3. A "back" arrow or a "home" tab would be a nice feature.A great metronome, and a very good price for the full version.

4. It really needs that feature in the app and I'd like at least a start and stop widget but I'm a widgety boi.The app is nice until you start using it.

5. Can someone just tell me what I'm doing wrong? It looks like it has potential.. The sounds are changeable, seeming by random but I CAN change the tempo accurately by cranking the huge knob like those old ones.

6. The flashlight feature doesn't work on my Note9 but the screen flash does so it's all good.

7. I have been using the paid version for years now on several different devices.

8. Also setting up a practice workout that will increase the tempo incrementally has been a help.

9. So using the side swipe to move back to the main screen turns off features that you did not intend or even turns on a few.

10. Plays in the background is a big deal to me but the metronome does not have a volume control for balancing with other media.

11. I like to break my practice time into 5, 10, or 20 minute intervals and this app lets me set an alarm that tells me when to stop.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Pro Metronome Issues

1. Fix Pro Metronome Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Pro Metronome: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Pro Metronome App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pro Metronome" » Open Pro Metronome » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pro Metronome » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Pro Metronome app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pro Metronome servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pro Metronome" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Pro Metronome app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pro Metronome might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Pro Metronome. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pro Metronome then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pro Metronome not working


2. Fix Pro Metronome Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pro Metronome be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Pro Metronome not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Pro Metronome may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Pro Metronome not working properly on my Samsung A53. Beats not flashing, pendulum moves to the end and to fron on every beat, led message "failed to connect to camera...". Older smartphone work properly. Thanks.
