1. The algorithms of both tuners are independent - the chromatic tuner uses the Fast Fourier Transformation, but the algorithm in the strobe tuner is much closer to what you can find in oscilloscopes, and is computed directly on the GPU of your phone or tablet.
2. Strobe Tuner Pro is easy to use thanks to an additional chromatic tuner that helps you when your instrument is way out of tune.
3. Strobe Tuner Pro is ideal for all violins, guitars, basses, ukuleles, violas, cellos and banjos.
4. The tuner has been tested with many guitars, violins, basses, ukuleles, violas, cellos and banjos, and we constantly grow our test coverage with new recordings of the instruments.
5. The chromatic tuner accurately detects the frequency of the tone played on your instrument, and shows it on the chromatic scale.
6. Professionals appreciate the Strobe Tuner Pro's accuracy, beginners quickly learn to tune instruments properly.
7. The chromatic and strobe tuners are independent, but both use the same input from the built-in microphone of your phone or tablet for their advanced algorithms.
8. Strobe Tuner Pro is the only tuner that shows the real stroboscopic effect on your device.
9. The tuner also features a built-in metronome, combined with a chromatic tuner.
10. By purchasing it, you can save hundreds of dollars for a physical strobe tuner.
11. When you get close enough, you can use the strobe tuner for fine tuning.
1. I compared it with Peterson Stroboclip and Peterson Strobosoft and I found it to be a few cents off! The cents indication doesn't match the strobe wheel, it shows to be sharp when the wheel stops turning! It is still possible to do set-up's with it but sometimes it jumps around to the point of being irritating! I've been doing luthier work for the past 35 years and have found this one to be pretty good! The strobe part isn't as stable as the other display showing the note names when tuned to pitch at zero cents off.
2. I don't have a desktop strobe tuner to compare it's accuracy to so I can't be too liable here, but it worked for setting the guitars intonation and now an open G or D sounds as good as, or in tune with, the arpeggios in the second octave.
3. I must ask, since you recommended this product (Strobe tuner pro) to me that you look into the functioning of the manual strobe tuner on it, because it does not function the same as your other excellent app 'guitar and violin tuner'.
4. Very nicely done! If you're a musician, you need this!this app seems to tune very well so it's not an accuracy issue but I have used strobe tuners for years and this particular one for me seemingly is very jittery.
5. I can't afford a regular strobe tuner ATM and I was in the middle of rebuilding my guitar when the virus thing hit.
6. And sometimes the strobe doesn't work automatically either, leaving only the manual tuning, in which case what do I need this app for? I tried reinstalling, clearing cache, etc., nothing helped.
7. There was an app called "Strobe Tuner", which was excellent, but is sadly no longer available.
8. I not only tune instruments , but also do setups including intonation where fine adjustments require the precision of a strobe, which this does perfectly.
9. The original "Strobe Tuner" app had a big strobe in the center of the screen - which was a full circle too.
10. Thanks!Best tuner for Android by far! This tuner is excellent! I have several clip-on tuners and several tuner apps on my phone but this one, hands down beats them all for sensitivity and accuracy.
11. I'd appreciate if you'd fix the manual tuner as it's a real sore point in an otherwise great app.For a while it worked great.
