MGM Rewards Customer Insights

1. This app doesn't update tier points (refreshing the screen gives you a checkin at the front desk message), it sends notifications to mobile check in but you can't, to view anything (offers, correct tier points/card status, reservations, etc) you have to go to the website.

2. We were sooooo excited to use the digital key feature... It worked in the elevator to get us to our floor, but when we got to our room, no luck! Had to go aaallllll the way back down to the lobby to get a physical key.

3. Ability to choose the room I check into (let me pick something near the elevator without waiting on line to check in with a person).

4. We we're able to see when our room was ready and didn't have to wait in line to check in.

5. And it was great to see the digital room key option... Then I tried to use it.

6. When i use the Book Room feature I can't scroll past october.

7. There is a bug that needs fixing.Definitely lacking...Caesar Rewards App runs circles around this and theirs has room for improvements.

8. We loaded it to avoid the big line, only to find it would not open the door to our room.

9. Two phone calls (with long holds) and a trip to the counter through the line anyway, and they issued us plastic keys.

10. It's a nuisance mostly because each one has a separate reservation number rather than just change the details within that reservation number and it can be confusingIt worked.

11. Dont require an internet connection for a room key.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MGM Rewards Issues

1. Fix MGM Rewards Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MGM Rewards: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MGM Rewards App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MGM Rewards" » Open MGM Rewards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MGM Rewards » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MGM Rewards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MGM Rewards servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MGM Rewards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MGM Rewards app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MGM Rewards might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MGM Rewards. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MGM Rewards then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MGM Rewards not working


2. Fix MGM Rewards Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MGM Rewards be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MGM Rewards not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MGM Rewards may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
