1. please resolve the issueNot working properly..too much irritating and am not able to uninstall from my mobile 😑Last 5- days showing error 598 sync session outdated and no longer device up to date massage Showing mails not receivedSince the last update 10 may 2022 the app shows an error regarding the ssl certificate of the mail server.

2. I believe there a special hell for creators of such apps, really.I'm having this problem where I see the IBM Verse apps (Contacts, Mail, Calendar...) having a notification badge.

3. When I updated the app a few days ago, I was relieved to see the notification badges gone, as well as the "IBM Verse syncing" bar in the Android drop-down notification drawer.

4. This app doesn't sync in real time, drains the battery rapidly, and uses the most memory of any app on my phone.

5. If I could give it negative stars I would.One suggestion for you..can you put all different aap install in phone in combined in one app.like outlook and other app.Up till 7th Nov release this was fine, no issues.

6. Updated; even setting the sync to manual and the app is still syncing every 10 - 15 seconds!!! Grrrrr!This is top worst app ever.

7. The calendar won't move from month to month without split screen freezing for a few seconds.

8. It creates many empty draft messages an hour, calendar usability demonstrates the hatred to humanity.

9. Constant sync message on notification drop down.

10. I have persevered with the but unfortunately since the latest release the performance has gone through the floor.

11. Google Playstore says that the last release is installed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HCL Verse Issues

1. Fix HCL Verse Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HCL Verse: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HCL Verse App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HCL Verse" » Open HCL Verse » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HCL Verse » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HCL Verse app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HCL Verse servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HCL Verse" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HCL Verse app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HCL Verse might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HCL Verse. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HCL Verse then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HCL Verse not working


2. Fix HCL Verse Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HCL Verse be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HCL Verse not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HCL Verse may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have onboarded my iPhone and installed HCL verse. Initially, it perfectly synced. Several hours later, it suddenly stopped accepting my IBM verse email password and I cannot use the beautiful app any longer. Could you please assist! Many thanks!
