1. All features work as expected.After paying the significant amount of money for this drone I was going to go download the app as instructed by the manual I use the QR code everytime I try to open the app good exit me out not even trying to start upHorrible.

2. Why not put a QR Code for both Android apps in the instructions, or just use the Skydrones GPS Drone app since the HD app doesn't work.I see many 1 star reviews.

3. If you are having problems just throw the product out ,do not waste your time with the tech support.Didnt work with my pixle 2 or A5 but works great with my older phones an lg and samsung both work great.

4. .The drone isn't bad for the price I paid at ROSS, but to get an app that worked, I had to download the Skydrones GPS Drone app, rather than the Skydrones HD Pro app, which is the app the instructions sends you to in the Google App Store.

5. The physical controller doesn't work either.Will not connect with the drone to the controller.

6. It might work for you like it did for me!Unable to control the drone.

7. I could also control my drone or just watch the live video if I have it connected to my controller.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Skydrones HD PRO Issues

1. Fix Skydrones HD PRO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Skydrones HD PRO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Skydrones HD PRO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Skydrones HD PRO" » Open Skydrones HD PRO » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Skydrones HD PRO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Skydrones HD PRO app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Skydrones HD PRO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Skydrones HD PRO" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Skydrones HD PRO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Skydrones HD PRO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Skydrones HD PRO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Skydrones HD PRO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Skydrones HD PRO not working
