I haven't gotten all of the features figured out yet, but I have limited time to play with the drone, as I'm a truck driver and don't always get done with my day during daylight hours and the weather doesn't always cooperate.Risky permissions I would uninstall since this wants full read write delete full time, plus ability to use camera and microphone on the phone at anytime... This could be old, but the programmers can easily change that to while the app is open only and if be fine with it...works, but spotty... bought drone in North America, but most warnings are in Chinese....Phone settings are in metric, app returns everything in imperial, unable to change.

I do wish the setting saved when you closed the app, I like flying mode 1, and mode 2 is default, I have to change it every time also I like terrain satellite and have to change that as well other than that no complaints about crashing or any issues.. running latest Android update on s10+Required phone permissions it says when it definitely doesnt.

3. The settings don't save between app usage, app crashes and corrupts the video when recording either to the device or SD card.Disappointing app to go with such a great drone (HS165) - really lets it down.

5. Unable to save the settings, they must be reentered every time the app starts.How about some instructions? A manual? A YouTube video? Something? There are a bunch of settings, I have no idea what they are used for.

8. It says to connect to the holystone wifi but yet no matter what I do the damn thing doesn't show any wifi networks.

1. Fix HS GPS V4 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart HS GPS V4: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the HS GPS V4 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HS GPS V4" » Open HS GPS V4 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HS GPS V4 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear HS GPS V4 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HS GPS V4 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HS GPS V4" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check HS GPS V4 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HS GPS V4 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall HS GPS V4. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HS GPS V4 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HS GPS V4 not working

2. Fix HS GPS V4 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HS GPS V4 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HS GPS V4 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
