Vysor Customer Insights

1. I'd say it's 3 out of 5 stars.This application works to control your Android device through a Windows PC just fine in that it gives you control of one or more devices but prepared to be interrupted constantly if you're using the free version or dish out quite a bit of money to use it monthly (it costs more than a Netflix subscription).

2. I hate the update and find it illogical since the previous way it presented ads was fine and I could live with that (wouldn't you want perpetual ad revenue vs asking people to pay a bunch of money to use the app uninterupted for a short term gain?) At this point I'm not sure I want to give them any money or continue use of the app, I may just go find a better app.The app is great if you know what you're doing.

3. Not big deals right now, but that makes me thing my money would be wasted if I bought the pro version, if the manual isn't even kept at an up to date page.

4. Nothing else you can use it for since the quality is so low, but I'm sure I can find a work around in the code.The Good: Easy to use, streams sound, records video.

5. Issue: 3) Some time ago, in the late 2.xx version, and certainly in the 3.xx version, the volume control button was removed from the Vysor PC interface.

6. How do you swipe away Apps and Notifications? I can get them to the point they're almost gone, but a little stays on the screen and I have to finish the swipe on my phone.

7. I might change my mind if the developer makes massive improvements.I paid for, and I am otherwise am happy with the Pro version.

8. In the past, the software occasionally had an advertisement that was not very intrusive but with the latest version, it will completely interrupt what you're doing (and for me it does so more frequently than every 15 minutes, more like every 5-10 mins).

9. This will completely stop youtube videos or interupt podcasts or other work I'm doing on the Android device.

10. My only small issue: I have to plug the phone into my PC after I reboot it in order to get wireless to work.

11. I have been using the pro version for about two years now and it's had its ups and downs, but the dev is active and updates have been consistent.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Vysor Issues

1. Fix Vysor Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Vysor: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Vysor App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Vysor" » Open Vysor - Android control on PC » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Vysor » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Vysor - Android control on PC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Vysor servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Vysor - Android control on PC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Vysor app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Vysor might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Vysor. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Vysor then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Vysor not working


2. Fix Vysor Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Vysor be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Vysor not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Vysor may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello, I am experiencing a black screen with certain apps on my Android v13. In addition, upon upgrading to my phone’s latest security update, my screen lock screen to enter my passcode is now black, adding an even bigger convenience. Your troubleshooting steps are outdated and do not help, as I am running the latest version of Chrome (v104.0.5112.101) and cannot perform the cube test. Also, there is no easy or existing way on your website to contact support unless you Google alternate ways. With this in mind, I have tried contacting Vysor years ago regarding the black screen issue and no one ever responded. This is all very concerning and unacceptable for a premium paid membership.
