1. Featuring JBL’s advanced waveguide technology, JBL designed and manufactured transducers, the latest technologies in cabinet materials and wireless DSP control via Bluetooth, the JBL EON 600-series delivers the extraordinary quality of a high-end studio monitor in a powerful portable PA.
2. EON Connect is a smart device application for control of up to four JBL EON 600-series speakers, using EON 600’s built-in Bluetooth functionality.
3. The EON Connect app enables you to optimize the performance of each speaker through exclusive access to additional DSP parameters, including three fully adjustable parametric equalizers, plus Hi and Lo Shelf filters.
4. JBL engineers purposely designed the JBL EON 600 speaker line to provide a fully professional, easy to use, and built-to-last portable loudspeaker system for today’s working musicians and sound providers.
5. NOTE: Due to improvements in the application infrastructure, users of the app before version 1. 34 may need to create new settings. Version 2. 0 is built on a new, improved code base for better performance.
6. Plus, quickly apply speaker settings across other EON 600-series speakers through preset creation and recall.
7. You can also update each speaker’s firmware to the latest version directly from the EON Connect application.
8. In addition you can set speaker delay for compensating speaker positions and control output mixing.
9. Users should reset their EON Speakers before using this version of the app.
10. If a speaker is still linked to the old app, it may not be able to connect to the new app.
1. The bad part...if your device goes to sleep, it loses connection and you have to push the Bluetooth button IN THE BACK OF THE SPEAKER to reconnect! This couldn't be any dumber, I DON'T want to reach around to the back of the cabinet or worse do that on-stage, to reconnect the Bluetooth (imagine if you had FOUR speakers to re-connect ON-STAGE!).
2. Great speakers as long as you don't want to use the Bluetooth option.Have had an EON610 for about 3 months and had not been able to connect with the EON Connect app with an Android based tablet that has all the required specs.
3. I can´t really say if it´s "good" or not, since it didn´t work anyways! I will hold out for some updates to solve the issues, or better yet, a professional level computer-ready version! Will not connect and find speakers unless your device location is ON !!!!!!!! Thanks to the tip by Stephen Daly in the reviews! JBL take note! >>> This info should be part of your video on connecting to the speakers.
4. Worst app, haven't been able to connect to a pair of eon610 speakers at all, try over and over, firmwates are up to date but will never connect, constantly tells me to download the app when it is and open on the device I'm trying to connect.
5. As it caused my speaker to be locked in a very low volume, then would not connect and let me reset, even with factory reset on the speaker.Terrible. App does not work, searches but never comnects.
6. maybe you can add a bluetooth music feature or maybe add in other eq presets without having to manually fiddle with all the frequency eq buttons in the app.Would not connect.
7. Bt protocol does not support basic bluetooth streaming so no just connecting via bt without the app (because nobody uses that I suppose) and the app wants access to all your phone files and pictures.
8. I bought a cheap Android tablet on Amazon (VANKYO MatrixPad S8 Tablet 8 inch, Android 9.0 Pie was $69 when i purchased.) and it paired with the EON connect app instantly.
9. I feel it's the best sounding sub at this price and I am glad to see Bluetooth control finally, but it needs work.I followed all directions correctly, yet had no success with pairing my JBL 615´s.
10. I don´t see the practicality in creating apps that ,while effectively controlling settings for plug-ins /software instruments can only be installed on a phone or an I- Pad!? I ´m still pleased the speakers, though and highly recommend them as stage monitors for keyboards or as a low cost gig PA.
11. Would not connect to any of them, turned on device location and BAM! They instantly showed up and connected.
