1. Data loaded in IDV (IMAIOS DICOM Viewer) isn't uploaded on the network to ensure storage safety and security of personal health information of the patients (excluding use of sharing features).
2. It allows you to easily open any file stored on your device or accessible online for quick viewing whenever you want.
3. IDV supports DICOM files of all types (ultrasound, scanner, MRI, PET, etc... ).
4. You will be able to scroll through your images and manipulate them (e. g. alter contrast or apply measurements).
5. It cannot be used for primary diagnosis in medical imaging.
6. Caution: IDV has not been tested or certified for clinical use.
7. It is NOT approved as a medical device.
8. IMAIOS DICOM Viewer is mentioned as a reference in this article: 10. 6009/jjrt.
1. Length etcPlease make this app works with orthanc server, echo is successfull, but search always return no result, the server itself is working fine with ohif.It is almost the only App which enables manipulating the DICOM files on the mobileTell me please, how to change series of images within one study (if the study has more than four series of DICOM images) under blue, yellow green and red shortcuts? Oh, I see, I can drag and drop from index views down below to the coloured window, ok.
2. HINT FOR NEWBIES there are four large image boxes and a bunch of small ones at the bottom, I finally figured out you can drag the small boxes of images up to the larger panes to load them.
3. I am an ex software developer so these types of interface shortcomings (IMO) kind of disappoint me.this is my second feedback, I'm even more impressed now than when I first downloaded this app, I've tried every other app in the app store I couldn't even get the others to load my views.
4. There's an evening of frustration and wasted time I would love to have back. When I load multiple scans, I can only view up to 4.
5. So looked around to find an easy to use DICOM viewer for my mom's scans since she's been fighting cancer for over 5 years.
6. I'm not sure if this is a common pattern in medical image viewers, but I haven't been able to find any documentation in the app on this functionality.
7. Only thing that I had an issue with was that I ZIP up 4 years of scans which ended up being 2GB and that crashed the app when trying to import.
8. EDIT: Changed rating due to workaround being available by dragging the series to the visible cell.
9. I always like to keep all the scans on hand just in case I need to show a doctor quickly.
10. And if I load it in again, it adds to the same 'study' so there doesn't seem to be a workaround.
11. You have to go to the Transfers section to see that images are being processed.
