1. Thanks much for a great product illumsoft!I have been using eWallet on Android and Windows computer since 2014.

2. And occasionally I have to delete and recreate the sync between the Android and Windows.Have been using this program for many many moons and, well, it has been part of my life.

3. Sometimes I need passwords but don't want to use my device online.Been using eWallet in some for or another for easily 10 years.

4. I would also store your eWallet's to the cloud so if a device fails you still have all your info.I've been using this app forever it seems.

5. I just started using dropbox to sync between android & windows devices.

6. I have the option to store data in the cloud but prefer to just manually sync between Windows laptop and Android phone.

7. I have been using for over 20 years, originally on windows mobile.

8. Except for a confusing branch of the software a couple years ago it has been great software! Do not use all the nifty features but the auto backup and such are great.

9. Encrypted storage on dropbox allows automatic syncing between my windows pc and my android phone.

10. Currently I'm using the Android and Windows versions.

11. Please note, when syncing to multiple devices, make sure you are setting how you want it to sync correctly.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix eWallet Issues

1. Fix eWallet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart eWallet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the eWallet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "eWallet" » Open eWallet - Password Manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for eWallet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear eWallet - Password Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from eWallet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "eWallet - Password Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check eWallet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, eWallet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall eWallet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall eWallet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing eWallet not working


2. Fix eWallet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make eWallet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to eWallet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, eWallet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
