That is the only reason i am giving 4 stars.2 stars Mostly it doesn't work even with local mode The guy really needs to study what is real time adding labels of real time doesn't make it real time it give us data of minutes back and that is also not consistent sometimes it gives us 1 minute previous data sometimes 10 minutes and so on there is no consistency which makes it a bad app Local mode connection is worst what so ever even i tried it standing in front of my inverter still it took minutes to connect which is quite annoyingThe app is lagging.

2. App doesn't update information quickly and many a times i check my inverter, It's logger and my wifi are working smoothly, even in such condition app takes hours to update data.

3. More resonsive after the update.Nothing SMART about this app What's the point of only being able to view data but cannot change settings via app.

4. Slow to load, and doesn't seem to have a notification option for alerts/errors.Why so many steps to read so little information? And the app does not always update.

5. Also, it only updates data for the day on which I force it to update, and then only from midnight to the update time.

6. The only catch is that it syncs the data every 20 minutes, i suggest the developer should introduce an option for refresh frequency in app for real-time monitoring.

7. It cannot auto update anything, very difficult to force it to update - I have 4 possible networks to use, but it will *ONLY* update on the network used by the installer when setting up the system.

8. All one can do is 'go to plant' hoping for an update but it seems it doesn't work.

9. What happens when you aren't home (or go away) and suddenly the weather changes or you have unexpected power outage for hours due to unplanned schedule change and need to charge from grid? Not very smartNew layout/GUI interface is a huge letdown.

10. Doesn't auto update - you have to go back to the first screen and tap in again.

11. Previous version at least allowed me to view my battery status as well as monitor power usage more effectively in terms of what was being received from my municipality vs solar/battery.

1. Fix SOLARMAN Smart Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SOLARMAN Smart: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SOLARMAN Smart App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SOLARMAN Smart" » Open SOLARMAN Smart » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SOLARMAN Smart » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SOLARMAN Smart app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SOLARMAN Smart servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SOLARMAN Smart" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SOLARMAN Smart app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SOLARMAN Smart might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SOLARMAN Smart. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SOLARMAN Smart then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SOLARMAN Smart not working

2. Fix SOLARMAN Smart Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SOLARMAN Smart be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SOLARMAN Smart not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SOLARMAN Smart may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
