1. Not being able to receive push notifications kind of defeats one of the major purposes of the app.Just switched from another company using Total Connect 2 as the app.

2. When you talk on the camera the other person can't hear you.I love my new system,in today's world everyone needs a security system.

3. I can access the option to stay/away from the dashboard, but it merely times out after a fee seconds of trying to arm and goes back to the dashboard after failing to turn on the alarm.Worst app ever.

4. I do not have other devices like cameras, etc., only the basics: Fire, doors, motion, but very pleased.They say this app was update Nov 2021, but it's still doing the same thing.

5. the loud sound alert let's them know they are on camera and being recorded.Occasionally tells me the system is offline when it isn't.

6. Sometimes it is slow to connect to the system which can lead to delays when deactivating the alarm.

1. Fix EMC Security Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart EMC Security: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the EMC Security App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EMC Security" » Open EMC Security » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EMC Security » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear EMC Security app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EMC Security servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EMC Security" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check EMC Security app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EMC Security might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall EMC Security. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EMC Security then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EMC Security not working

2. Fix EMC Security Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EMC Security be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EMC Security not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EMC Security may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
