The Economist Customer Insights

1. I would like a way of providing feedback on audio segments; and rewind 15s on lock screen pls eg like bbc sounds.I flip back and forth between audio and reading and it's very difficult to keep track of read articles sometimes.

2. In addition, it is impossible to scroll down the list of audio articles in the queue so it is effectively impossible to edit the queue.This app is an exercise in frustration.

3. (They say the app can't delete all the old files itself) I would like all the content in audio - we get nearly all of the weekly content, but not the "by invitation" articles, or the daily news updates.

4. It doesn't keep track of where you left off in either audio or reading, which is horribly frustrating when you stop reading for a few hours and try to start again.

5. Sometimes when listening to the full magazine audio, it will pause between articles for ten to thirty seconds.

6. The audio playback does not restart at the position last completed and periodically stops spontaneously, which can be really annoying.

7. Also it takes a long time between articles audio playing.

8. It's not worth trying to listen in the car anymore, which used to be my preferred method, because the audio crashes and stops after ever single story.Next to useless.

9. The lag time between telling it to fast forward and rewind is so bad that you can't even get to a point you want because you hit the button, think it didn't read it, hit it again amd just as you do, it then does the first.I love economist, and I have an annual subscription to it.

10. Worse: the new auto download of the audio version makes the app practically unusable.

11. It takes good 10 seconds after it starts to get audio ready to be played.
