Hence uninstalled and opted for 'Specie' app by Bill Farmer, available on F-Droid: 0.72 MB (!) storage space, 100% ad-free.one of the better apps...I like how when u put in an amount to convert it stays and is automatically updated against the other currency especially when u close and open the app..it's still there ...3 stars bec to be the perfect app .

2. it should have a widget to put on my homescreen so if I want to know what's 300 dollars in eg euros.. it will show me the exact amount as per the current rate without opening the app..I would not mind paying for this feature !!!This has stopped working.

3. The delay in reporting the in-effect exchange rate at the moment a volatile currency is checked hampers its excellence.

4. There's no obvious refresh button, so it's not functional in real-time currency exchange rates.

5. For the country I am looking at, it is showing the currency value from FOUR WEEKS AGO, not the current one.

6. To adjust favorites long press item then tap trash can in upper right or use triple bars to move around items in list.

7. It is a little transparent on my home screen among the other app icons.Terrible, pop up ads are terrible and dont relate to anyyhing and some not even in you location.

8. Or at least a base 1$ reference to check if the conversion is up to date when I'm off line.I can't discribe this app just with words, You know.

10. The graphs could be much better, but in fairness the graphs in Currency Converter are on par with what everyone is offering.

1. Fix Currency Converter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Currency Converter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Currency Converter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Currency Converter" » Open Currency Converter » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Currency Converter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Currency Converter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Currency Converter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Currency Converter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Currency Converter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Currency Converter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Currency Converter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Currency Converter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Currency Converter not working

2. Fix Currency Converter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Currency Converter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Currency Converter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Currency Converter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
