1. The ShipCSX mobile application provides customers anywhere/anytime access to updates on the status of their rail shipments from an Android phone.
2. Customers can retrieve up-to-date information about their shipments using Railcar Trace, Train Trace, and Equipment Specifications (UMLER), or send information to CSX using Shipping Instructions, View Inventory, and Plant Switch.
3. Please note: Only CSX customers with valid login credentials for ShipCSX will have access to the features on the ShipCSX mobile application.
4. ShipCSX Mobile is designed with our supply-chain and logistics conscious business customers in mind.
5. For security reasons, only authenticated CSX customers can access shipment information through the application.
6. The application collects location data within the XGate module as part of a safety feature to prevent usage while in motion. This data is not stored.
7. XGate module added for streamlining intermodal driver check-in and check-out processing at terminals.

1. It is an all around terrible experience.Won't let me log in, says my password is incorrect, I had to reset my password, worked for one minute, than booted me out, than tried to re login and got the same error saying password doesn't match, tried to reset AGAIN, and than says it did Recognize my email, so tried to make a new account, said MY EMAIL DOESN'T EXIST! IDK what is wrong with this app, but never using it again!Overall the app is pretty sweet I wish that you could change your mission when you are in the rail due to having issues with another container or chassis and I wish you could use it when you were moving because a lot of times we don't have the time to sit still but I get this for a safety feature but that's probably the most ridiculous part about itHaven't been able to use x-gate for months, it's been stuck on "oops something went wrong, try again" and can't get anywhere.
2. Tried calling support, no help.If a driver ingates with the app and the outgate gets submitted with incorrect info or gets changed post outdated data has been entered, there is no way to back out and correct unless I bobtail out, DA clears the app and I ingate back in as a bobtail.
3. Then there's the manual outgate after you drop a trailer,your into stays in the app even after the manually outgate you so when you have to go back in less then 24hrs you have to do everything manually, what a joke,this app is very poor and should be looked at closely and redone.Everytime I log on, it loads an outgate screen with a container I took out last week.
4. Last feature needed is to be able to locate and determine if container is on a chassis, train, or ground before arriving to terminal.
5. That way drivers can be updated on the task at hand and be scheduled for a better pickup time.There is no way to refresh screen when ingating yuo have to force stop the app to get you drop and pu locations,what a waste of time.
6. When in motion the screen gets dimmed, making reading to location you're trying to find difficult to read (in case you forget it).
7. The people at the gate are always rude and when you email their customer service, you receive a rude response.
8. Now I can't use the app anymore cause I can't change the container number and there is no back button.
9. Password security rules are straight out of the 90's & there's no support for biometric (e.g. fingerprint) sign-ins.
10. When I would go to the Memphis location, I would have everything filled out correctly, then get to the gate and their system would claim it couldn't find me.
11. Can't change plans once you've started a "mission," nor can you cancel out of it.
