1. This version could have been rebranded and needs to be kept for now.Well the app is good to use for extremely basic things, like viewing what you have, The last few times I've tried to use it in order to make changes to my plan or get help with things has resulted in almost an hour each time trying to get things taken care of.
2. Not great when your Comcast internet cuts out and you're trying to figure out why! Also, the app is bad even when it works! It'll say my system "looks great" when I have no connection, will say there's no outage at our location (when our internet is down), but show an outage in our area.
3. Every other type of device, Google, wemo, feit, cell phones, computers all work fine on wifi, TVs have to be reset multiple times every night, or wifi has to be reset.
4. I'm disappointed but it's typical comcast.App is not designed to help debug issues with xfinity devices and only offers simple setup advice, but no solutions or debug.
5. From the app you can change the wifi SSID and password and that's it, and pay the bill.Since the latest update, the app crashes as soon as you launch it.
6. I guess when this one goes away, I won't use their app anymore.When you need to reach someone, and the phone system won't let you through to one because it needs to do a reset, when you have done 3 on the app already.. is the biggest most frustrating thing ever.
7. If you need help with problems or making changes, nothing beats having a person help.Trash app that from yet another utility company that enjoys a monopoly.
8. It has your account at a glance and you can trouble shoot from the app, as well as restart your cable box, see if there is an outage in your area and pay your bill.
9. Every time I try to change my wifi settings, it just says "something went wrong".
10. When fios comes to our area soon we will be switching service.2023 and this review has been here for 2 years.
11. It crashes, gives you blank screens, has multiple pages just to get to what you already see on the old version's homepage.
