1. Edit:no fixes from support work:/Why can't Fido make biometric for their app login like many others? From time to time it gets timed out and then it opens the browser to login, then redirect back to the app for access.

2. When you force update, you better make sure the app works! Fido it's on you to fix this!Fix your app!! You were notified about the issue a long time ago! I can see other people's comments with the same issue.

3. Fido, you can do better.The app used to be great, then they pushed an update and now the app sends you to an external browser to login, that only works rarely.

4. I reached out to FIDO Solutions 1st time & was told I'm the problem.

5. Take care.After a recent update, I am now forced to enter my password almost every time I launch the app, with no option to use biometrics.

6. On my phone it's defaulted to be called "My Account" so I need to search it with that and it never pops up under "Fido" which is absolutely daft.

7. For instance, Disney immersive costs $42 per person through Fido, but book without Fido is $38.Since the recent uodate, the app is very glitchy.

8. It opens a web page and asks you to login there every time.

9. It asks for your password (no biometric option now), and while it tries to load, it fails and closes or an error message 'we've hit a snag'.

10. I used to look for the FIDO Extras but now I no longer have access & cannot participate in the contests.

11. It just restarts the process of putting your payment on auto.The app has become useable! I really dislike forced updates because you have no recourse if there's a problem with the new app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Fido My Account Issues

1. Fix Fido My Account Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Fido My Account: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Fido My Account App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Fido My Account" » Open Fido My Account » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Fido My Account » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Fido My Account app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Fido My Account servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Fido My Account" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Fido My Account app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Fido My Account might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Fido My Account. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Fido My Account then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Fido My Account not working


2. Fix Fido My Account Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Fido My Account be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Fido My Account not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Fido My Account may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
