1. That and if you google "best DNS servers" you come up with similar or exactly the same list this app gives you. This was my experience... Download the app, Run it and see my results, About to exclaim how wonderful it is to have a DNS check work so quickly, when I get hit with an AD at 100% volume screaming throughout my house and guess what, there is no exit or close button for 5seconds!!! Do you understand how stupid that is... Good!So many problems.
2. Please add an intro somewhere, maybe first of 3 tabs, explain purpose and expected results. It definitely shows you a bunch of servers but I'm not sure if they are just a premade list or if they are actual real time servers.
3. Cannot re-test a single entry without doing all of them again.Aggressive Ads Every time; after a second test; it plays a loud, take-over-the-screen type ad.
4. Also, when resolving the DNS server from a hostname i.e. dns64.dns.google, the first sample includes the time to resolve that hostname, before actually contacting that DNS.
5. Requires pen and paper to determine the most reliable DNS over time.App is great and there is almost no issues with this app only issue I found, it takes longer on some wifi/mobile data.
6. Or maybe I could run a local cache on my LAN? It seems that most people don't understand the impact of dns speed sampling or dns substitution like Adblock, which is sweet.
7. Rolled back to previous version and never update this app againVery fast and unreliable test, takes 5 seconds.
8. You cant search based on latency vs packet loss or download speed vs upload speed.
9. My own local network resolver was given worst result of 500ms, tested again, first place at 7ms.
10. Test is clearly using only cached results to known domains.
11. Money grubbing garbage, don't download.Pretty good- however, it would be nice to see an auto average faeature.
