2. Just tell it about your end mill, the material being cut, and max feed rate and horsepower of you CNC/machine... and Speeds and Feeds will tell you what RPM, feed rate in IPM, radial width of cut, and axial depth per pass for both roughing and finishing.
3. Feeds and Speeds will automatically adjust the feed and cut depths to stay within your specified machine horsepower.
4. Speeds & Feeds for Milling comes pre-loaded with lots of materials, but will also allow you to add, delete and modify any and all materials.
5. This APP was formerly know as "Feeds and Speeds for Milling" and "Pro Speeds and Feeds" This is an updated version equivalent to the pay "Pro Speeds and Feeds" but is now FREE!
6. Speeds and Feeds is loaded with all the basic machining materials... and then some.
7. This calculator will give you the basic spindle RPM and feed rate based on the type of cutter and material being machined.
8. Speeds & Feeds for Milling is not just another milling calculator, but something much more.
9. This program gives basic feed and speed calculations.
10. Use of the calculations provided may result in broken tooling and/or machine damage. Use at your own risk.
11. Don’t like the numbers you get with the stock settings, then change them, It’s that simple.
1. Could update with different cutter profiles, assume this is for flat end millsThis is the best app I could find for calculating feeds without knowing the material properties.
2. Now every time I put a value in it just gives a popup saying it's just a reference blablabla I hit the agree button and it just repeats the exact same thing over and over can't get past that stepBest one on the play store.
3. Just plug in the size, type, teeth of your cutter and select the material, works like magic.
4. Does not help you calculate anything...just does some simple math based on all of the parameters you input.
5. Whatever your 'max' spindle speed is, this app calculates chip load/tooth etc.no matter what I put in for the machines max speeds it tells me that is what I should run it at.
6. If you want to use it for turning just put in the cutter has 1 tooth.Looks good.
7. I should not be running at 3000rpm on a 1/2" mill through stainlessVery good and useful app for vmc.Love this app.
8. Simple.Great little app...Very nice aapIt worked before then just stopped.
9. You can add your own materials, I added materials under the older codes like en1a, as that's what I am used to.
10. Simple and accurate so far.
11. I would make some tweaks to the interface to make it perfect.
