1. dose anyone else have the same problem XTOOL PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE THANKSChanged my phone from Samsung Galaxy S8+ to a nice new Samsung Galaxy S10+, & now the app will not work, as it was apparently built for an earlier version of android; it just says pair the bluetooth dongle with my phone, every time I try to use the app, even though it is already paired; so now my Jag is stuck with the engine management light on & I can't reset it 😳😕 Please update your app to work on the latest version of android, on my device, & I will give 5 star rating 👌App not updated since Nov 2016 and does not work with later versions of Android, as per error received when attempting connection to iobd2 mini.

I am now on the verge of deleting this app.it was working fine with my old car but now that i have a newer cars 2017 and 2018 they don have the update software information for 2017 and 2018 on TOYOTA COROLLA AND CHR TOYOTA .. UPDATE THIS APP SO WE CAN HAVE THE ACCESS TO IT PLZand im not giving very good stars only 2 until nowUpdated: Fixed Android bug.

3. Also cannot connect iobd2 mini via other apps, may be specific to xtool iobd2 app which means device is now junk.

1. Fix iOBD2 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart iOBD2: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the iOBD2 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iOBD2" » Open iOBD2 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iOBD2 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear iOBD2 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iOBD2 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iOBD2" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check iOBD2 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iOBD2 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall iOBD2. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iOBD2 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iOBD2 not working

2. Fix iOBD2 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iOBD2 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iOBD2 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iOBD2 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
