The internal DCAs are causing way lower network traffic and improve the response of the app, especially when more remote control clients (e. g. for personal monitoring) are connected to the same mixer. - Compatible with Android® devices running Android® 4. - X AIR 1. 5 requires X AIR series mixer firmware V1.
1. More than enough time has passed to fix the software issues. The X air app for android is terrible... tried this as I wanted to dedicate a wireless pad to the mixer, and IOS doesn't have the WiFi network controls android has.
2. Not good. This version is VASTLY inferior to the iPad version and seriously needs to be updated on the Android side.
3. And also the interface could get an update to look better.Tmobile just forced an Android 13 update on my cell phone and now some of the functions don't work on this app because it hasn't been updated since 2017.
4. I feel that the android version of this app is more responsive than the apple version and is why I bought a Galaxy Tab, solely for my XAir.
5. (you have to select each and every possible wifi connection the iPAD sees and tell it "no.") However, the general appearance of the IOS version is much better and easier to control.
6. If you're like me and coming from the iOS side trying to learn the Android version, oh man, you're in for a STEEP learning curve.
7. Apple devices connect to my XR18 flawlessly, have tried everything with my google pixel 2 to connect with this Android app with no luck.
8. Overall, Android version needs an updateThe app crashes a lot.
9. It would be AMAZING if they updated this to match the style and layout of the excellent excellent excellent iPad version.
10. Now had to switch to an android tablet and am underwhelmed by this glitchy, obsolete software.
11. However the Android version is very lacklustre.
