1. The focus here is simplicity, you don't need a bunch of bells and whistles and charts, you just need a simple app that will tell you how much you've spent, and how much you have left to spend.
2. You can add expenses quickly and the first page of the app shows you how much money you have left to spend this week.
3. Simply do a quick calculation of how much you have left over after fixed expenses and use that amount in this app!
4. This app allows you to set up a weekly spending budget and helps you track your spending through the week.
5. You don't even have to have an Internet connection to add expenses or view your past expenses, the app will simply sync up once you are connected again.
6. The most common complaint of the app is that it can't do recurring revenue or expenses.
7. Since those values are typically fixed (by nature of being recurring), you should be able to exclude them from the app.
8. It syncs to the cloud so your data is always backed up, and accessible from multiple devices!
9. This app was created with the goal of being very easy to use.
10. This is a feature, not a bug.
11. Web application available (for iOS/Windows Phone): budget. andrewovens.
1. I get paid weekly and direct debits are monthly this is absolutely great for keeping track of what's coming out each week so Im not tempted to spend my money as soon as I get it... Yeah the repeat option would be handy, or am I just not seeing it.
2. But omg definitely keeping this it's perfect apart from that!!.. nice and easy and no useless faff attached to it that wastes time.I was at my wit's end trying to find an app that does this! None of the paid apps allow you to track weekly spending.
3. The forced weekly budget is a poor design choice as well; a budget should be monthly as weekly expenses can be drastically different depending on bills.
4. It allows me and my wife to make sure we don't go over our set weekly spending and it's enabled us to make some real progress toward saving again! Only gripe is that the balance on the widget does not sync until you open the app.Excellently simple.
5. I finally switched to using a spreadsheet elsewhere, but this app did one job and it did it very well! Thank you for helping me with finances all these years (no exaggeration, probably over 5 at this point)!I love this app! I use it offline to track a specific budget I have trouble overspending.
6. I can also carry my budget to next week which I really like.I get paid weekly.
7. This is the only app that's free, absolutely no ads, and let's me set a weekly budget based on how much I can spend.
8. No improvements needed as you already added the only other necessary feature: to share or sync your budget to a different phone.
9. So I needed an app that can help me budget weekly.
10. I've been looking for a good, free budget app for a very long time.
11. Edited to add: I also love that it shows me my totals spent per week, instead of simply per month.Very simple app.
