1. I decided to look for an alternativeThe app is pretty great except for it no longer notifies me when it's time to move on to the next task which pretty much makes it useless :( I followed their instructions to make sure all of the notifications were working (many of the instructions didn't actually match my phone) and then I finally uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it worked this morning but now it's not working again. The app does not notify me when the time is up.
2. You can get the same benefits from using the free version which I wish I could rate higher because I didn't see any ads at all, but I think paying for the extra features is well worth it just to get a more expansive experience.I love this app, and I would keep it and keep using it if I could turn the voice off.
3. If anything seems to happen I'll let you know!Great for autistic people! Pros: visual symbols, the overdue reminder notification says to "take your time" which is calming, you can have different starting times set for different days, easy to navigate and use.
4. I just upgraded to the paid version to get more routines because I've been reliably using it every weekday now for a few months.Edit: I upped it to three stars because the company responded to my complaint and offered some suggestions.
5. I have the "voice notifications" turned on (even though I would like a simple ping), my phone is not silent, I allowed the app to share notifications with me.
6. Not only do I personally find it distracting, but I often have to do my routine around my sleeping partner, and even when turning the notifications to silent the voice still goes off.
7. Also there's a easy start routine widget for phone home screens! Cons: translations are a bit poorly worded, but still understandable! I love this app.
8. When I restart my phone, it will bomb me with notifications for routines I've skipped over in the past.
9. It is a subscription not a one time pay model which is the classic greedy behavior I've come to expect in this day and age.I used to have the app on my old phone and decided to re-download it.
10. I tried keeping the phone's display on, turning it off, turning battery saving mode on and off.
11. Seems to be helpful so far with keeping a good routine which I struggle with.
Hi, how to add missed routines to the streak? I forgot to log my exercise for the last two days. And I wish to keep my streak. How to proceed?
I paid for a 6 month subscription in January for $14.99, however, when I checked my subscription information I see that it only has me on the 1 month plan— set to end 2/16. I am loving this app and want to keep the subscription for the duration I paid for but do not want to pay extra money to keep it. Is this an issue you would be willing and able to resolve? If so, do what other information/proof do you need from me?
I have the Routinery app on my iPhone, iPad and my Apple Watch (which is directly linked to my iPhone through Bluetooth). I like to start my routines on my Apple Watch as I have it on all the time and it’s easier to click to the next task, but after I’m done I can’t open Routinery on my iPhone to see my streak or any other info because the app immediately crashes. I can try time and time again but it always closes and I can’t use the app at all. It also crashes on my iPad but after a few tries I can finally make it work. I have my iPad account linked to my iPhone through the sync feature, and my routines made on my iPad do show up on my iPhone (for the short amount that I can see my routines list) but somehow the routines finished on my Apple Watch (and so my iPhone) never sync to my iPad because I don’t have any streak or finished routine on my iPad. I’ve been using the app for a few days and because I love the idea and can benefit from it, I’d love to continue to use it, but it’s simply impossible to do that when nothing seems to work. How can I fix this?
Hi! I just switched phones and the app states my subscription cannot be restored. Is there a reason for this. Thank you for your time.
Delete my account, please :(
I love the app but I don't have access to my smartphone anymore
I'll be back!
