Tikkie Customer Insights

1. Tried contacting via whatsapp and been passed to 3 people but none of them actually continue helping.I've been using tikkie for years (much more reliable than my bank payment requests) and the new groupie feature is amazing! (Not sure about the name, but that's not up to me) but some small suggestions are: - A way to delete the groupie you've created Might add more suggestions here after using the feature for a bit, but well done! A really nice addition to the appIt is not possible to use the app with an international phone numbers.

2. iDeal is for Dutch Bank accounts, thus I don't see the necessity of having a Dutch mobile phone number (which is used only for registration) in order to transfer money.

3. It would be nice if a one could mention a amount and in the settings one could allow for the person to add on top of that amount (as a sign of appreciation).The thank you gif page should be improved by a lot, the tiny search bar and result could take up the entire screen.

4. Possible to see a new release soon with this feature?I have recently changed my name in the app due to a legal change of the same nature, but while in app the name is changed, in the tikkie sent out, it is not.

5. The auto completion during sign up is that aggressive that I can't fill in my RABO account number.

6. Other than that, great app! 😊Can't verify the number.

7. I uninstalled and reinstalled and accidentally made a typo in my first name and the problem was the same.

8. For example, it would be great for an alternative to the open tikkie function.

9. Sending sms has failed...even though the phone number is correct.

10. No helpdesk inside the app either to use at this point.Cant fill in account number.

11. Can't see totals, can't delete Groupies, and a few more very annoying omissions, and no proper help/description on many things.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Tikkie Issues

1. Fix Tikkie Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Tikkie: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Tikkie App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tikkie" » Open Tikkie » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tikkie » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Tikkie app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tikkie servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tikkie" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Tikkie app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tikkie might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Tikkie. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tikkie then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tikkie not working


2. Fix Tikkie Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tikkie be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tikkie not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tikkie may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
