TiviMate Companion Customer Insights

1. Would love to see this feature added for easier access across all devices.I really like the UI and customizable aspect of the software, I just wish there was an easy way to sync settings between multiple devices.

2. Other than that.....a great media player.This used to be the best IPTV Player, but for sometime now, it's been really buggy! There's just way too much freezing, buffering, along with the inability to catch up on shows, the inability to constantly record full programs and the inability to backup data constantly.

3. close :PI love Tivimate! It's smooth, has lots of great features and is easy and intuitive to use.

4. Had a few technical issues when trying to sync companion with my devices so I contacted support through the email provided.

5. I wish this app worked on the Android smartphones!!! Seriously great app!!Love the app.

6. I have six Chromecast devices that run Tivimate and would have to manually input all the settings.

7. Would be 5 stars and even better if we could log in and keep our Playlist data and settings across all devices.

8. For those saying the companion app does nothing, it's a vehicle to subscribe to the app and manage your devices.

9. While other programs I use on the same firestick will record to the external storage device, tivimate will not see the drive at all.

10. With the firestick OTG cable, I am able to add additional external storage for movies and recorded video.

11. I sincerely hope these issues are addressed soon.The app is great, and getting better all the time.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TiviMate Companion Issues

1. Fix TiviMate Companion Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TiviMate Companion: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TiviMate Companion App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TiviMate Companion" » Open TiviMate Companion » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TiviMate Companion » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TiviMate Companion app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TiviMate Companion servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TiviMate Companion" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TiviMate Companion app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TiviMate Companion might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TiviMate Companion. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TiviMate Companion then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TiviMate Companion not working


2. Fix TiviMate Companion Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TiviMate Companion be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TiviMate Companion not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TiviMate Companion may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I would like to make a suggestion. I think that Tivimate companion app must validate everyone's email address when someone signs up. This action will allow detecting spelling problem email address. This is my case. In my email address, when I registered on Tivimate companion, I made a mistake: I typed: ,com (coma com) instead of .com (dot com). This why I could not unlock premuim features and when I would like to reset my Tivimate companion account, I didn't receive the reset email you sent me.
    So, it is important that you validate everyone email address to prevent spelling problem.

  • GOOD MORNING!! I love tivimate!! I was trying to find out when my subscription renews or ends? I want to renew and but I don't remember if I bought the lifetime subscription or the yearly subscription. Can you please help me with that so I will be able to keep having tivimate?   • Hello, I have been trying to get my m3u4u epg to work on Tivimate. I'm legally blind and having a hard time reading the directions. I keep getting an error that say " I successfully updated with 0 channels. I have been working on trying to get the EPG to upload for 3 days.   • It has been more than three days now since I downloaded Tivimate and registered for the one time fee. I downloaded the app via android phone and completed the payment process. Since then, haven't received any email notification regarding the M3U Playlist URL. I've checked my trash and junk email, no code at all. I am now sure if I did something wrong, but I need to enter the URL or get a refund. I don't know if it's an app issue. I look forward to hearing from you guys soon.

  • I am having trouble recording programs. Some programs Tivimate will record in their entirety, but for others, it will only record part of it. For example, it may only record 15 minutes of one-hour program. I have plenty of space on my USB drive and I have two to three connections with my IPTV service.

  • Hi I'm having an issue with the TV Guide inside of the TiviMate IP Player on Amazon Firestick 4K. I have done everything I could imagine getting the programming to show with regard to the TV guide programming. My Amazon Firestick 4K is fairly new, I mean I had just installed this app due to a recommendation from a tech person. All in all I am having troubleshooting issues with the "EPG" no television guide showing it's just showing "no information"

  • Hi, I added a 4th TiviMate app to TiviMate Companion and now I cant see one of my apps that I had originally added.

    When I try go to unlock premium witing the app, I use my companion credentials and get the error " Cant log in, please try again later"

  • Hi i have 2 tv with tivimate, but only ony Visible in the app on the mobile, I have bought for 85 kr to lock up the premium for 5 devices. But it not worked on the other device, same gmailaccount there i bouth first time 85kr, second time 285 kr and after that one of the device put up on the list in the app, but not the first one, so i pay 285kr for lifetime and it work on one device but not on the other device, and all have the same gmailaccount on bouth tv and the login on the app in the mob,what do we do? I want 85kr back and That both devices Visible in the app. And that what I've paid now for should be enough for gone. Otherwise, this case will be the one I'm moving forward with.   • I am unable to unlock Tivimate premium on a second new Amazon Firestick 4k. I have purchased access through Tivimate Companion and have successfully unlocked on one Firestick. I can log into to Tivimate companion via Google Play without difficulty to check my purchase. I tried with adn without VPN. I have made enabled the facility for external Apps etc. I have rebooted, reset etc. but am getting nowhere. Any suggestions?
