Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Berrios Issues

1. Fix Berrios Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Berrios: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Berrios App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Berrios" » Open Berrios » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Berrios » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Berrios app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Berrios servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Berrios" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Berrios app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Berrios might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Berrios. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Berrios then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Berrios not working


2. Fix Berrios Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Berrios be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Berrios not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Berrios may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • On November 6, 2021, I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator at your Mayaguez branch, (Order no. A386084). Since the date of purchase, the refrigerator has failed to operate three times and has required several repairs and replacement of parts. Now the refrigerator has broken down again and the repairman said that he will have to replace the major control board and the fan assembly. In the meanwhile, I have lost time and money waiting to have my refrigerator working again and also have had to replace my spoiled food. It is obvious that this refrigerator is seriously defective and will continue to break down. I called the Mayaguez Berrios branch seeking a replacement of the refrigerator and was told they cannot do so.I am contacting you to see if you can help me get a replacement of the refrigerator as it is clear that the refrigerator that was sold to me is no good and will continue breaking down. I recently moved to Mayaguez after working 30 years as a consumer product liability lawyer and know that reputable companies such as Berrios stand behind the products they sell. I would be very appreciative if you can investigate my case and intervene appropriately so that I may get a replacement refrigerator and avoid the frustration of dealing with this situation. As of July 12, 2022 the service repairman analyzed the problem and said that he will have to replace the entire main control board and fan assembly. As you know, the main control board controls the entire appliance. I need a replacement of this refrigerator and would like Berrios to stand behind the products they sell. I will await your response.
