Story Saver Customer Insights

1. Need a new repost story now.Worst the apps !! That version is full of problems that I don't even know why they bothered to create it... It's can't download all the multiple area, keeps reverting to main screen.. That app just pain terrible ....The new update on 06/07/2023, to use as browser is not good.

2. Wish they left it alone.The app is good, easy to download photos and picture quality is also fine, but the only problem is that it constantly keeps logging out of my account, if I log in through the app, I get logged out of my main Instagram account and If I log into my main app then I have log in again in this app, kindly fix this issue as soon as possible because everyone is facing this same problem.

3. Kind of annoying.The new update sucks cus it doesn't download the exact video ure trying to download, takes alot of tries & double checking to finally get it right.

4. Atlst the previous version was spot-on with its "list" format when choosing which video to download.

5. It doesnt download the IG video stories but only works 4 the photo story.

6. It doesn't matter what app I open the download stories in, they never play correctly for the first few seconds.

7. When I download stories, the first 2-3 seconds either replay at double speed, or it just skips to 3 seconds in.

8. I would suggest to provide the old format itself.hey! are you going to fix broken download? this is the main function of this app, it is unusable without it.

9. I can live with logging out of the IG app so I can download stories to the people I follow.

10. Hardly able to download anything through the app browser and no sign of a fix.

11. I hope you guys fix this problem.I used to love this app now it doesnt work even without the login feature.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Story Saver Issues

1. Fix Story Saver Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Story Saver: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Story Saver App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Story Saver" » Open Story Saver » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Story Saver » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Story Saver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Story Saver servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Story Saver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Story Saver app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Story Saver might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Story Saver. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Story Saver then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Story Saver not working


2. Fix Story Saver Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Story Saver be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Story Saver not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Story Saver may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
