1. I waited 10mins and the progress stayed at 0%I am FLABBERGASTED that this app has a 4+ star rating in its current rendition! If one could simply type in the trim start and end times, this app WOULD be good! But....you have to use a ridiculous slider to clumsily select the times....AND IT DOESN'T EVEN SHOW YOU WHAT TIME YOU CURRENTLY HAVE THE SLIDER AT UNTIL YOU STOP MOVING IT!!? This makes working with this app utterly absurdly tedious, especially with longer videos! It'll take potentially much, much, much longer to do what would otherwise take a few seconds! Fix this mind-boggling asinine absurdity, and this app may be 5 stars.

2. It would be great if we could manually enter the start and end length timing of the video! Otherwise the app is amazing! Add that feature and I'll rate it 5 stars 🤘In December 2021 I wrote a review stating that the Story Spliter app is not splitting videos correctly.

3. Next time you write a piece of software make sure that when the downloader installs and uses it when he presses select folder it actually select folder and allows you to choose videos to edit if the program actually works.

4. Best App for Android users.It works and is fast, but it fails to load the folder where I store my videos! I think it gets hung up on the video file itself.

5. at least the video trimmer that I installed in the previous video opened and split the video I just didn't find it as intuitive and simple as I needed it to be.I love this app a lot! Only one thing I didn't like is the video tracking slider! It's very irritating as it's very difficult to slide it to my desired video location.

7. Thanks.Oh man! This thing does exactly what it's supposed to! You set the time per clip and leave it to chop up the source video.

9. Anyway, I can't use this.Does exactly what its suppose to, I use it to split long videos for Instagram so that they are 59 seconds each .

1. Fix Video Splitter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Video Splitter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Video Splitter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Video Splitter" » Open Video Splitter - Story Split » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Video Splitter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Video Splitter - Story Split app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Video Splitter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Video Splitter - Story Split" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Video Splitter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Video Splitter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Video Splitter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Video Splitter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Video Splitter not working

2. Fix Video Splitter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Video Splitter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Video Splitter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Video Splitter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
