Peek Acuity Customer Insights

1. Instead of a shake feature, a "Cannot identify direction" button would be betterThis app is good but it shows eyesight score after test as -0.3 and in simulation can't see this number so this glitch needs to be fixedplease change that "shake" feature when the child cant see the chart l.

2. shaking is sometimes usless and it adds hassle to the processI landed on 38mm/42mm.Like,hawk eye sight is what kind of surgeon variety im looking for.Not calibrated for Moto G7 power display.Can I use this app in my tablet instead of my phone, if the calibration is right?Not for self use.

3. The only minor issue is that you have to find out how to shake it when the letter is unreadable.This needs more letters besides "E".

4. After a little while you can come to recognize the shape of the letter and discern it's direction that way, even if the letter is blurry or ouf of focus.

5. Found out that one of my twins had an eye issue with this app during covid when we were worried about stepping out.

6. It's very easy to use, and truly remarkable in bringing easy eye testing to almost everyone with a smartphone.

7. Must have second person to administer test.

8. When we later went to the doc, it corresponded quite well.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Peek Acuity Issues

1. Fix Peek Acuity Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Peek Acuity: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Peek Acuity App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Peek Acuity" » Open Peek Acuity » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Peek Acuity » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Peek Acuity app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Peek Acuity servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Peek Acuity" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Peek Acuity app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Peek Acuity might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Peek Acuity. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Peek Acuity then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Peek Acuity not working


2. Fix Peek Acuity Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Peek Acuity be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Peek Acuity not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Peek Acuity may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
