Useful not only for campers but for anyone who travels inside New Zealand or Australia, gives you exact location and information about the possible stops with facilities such as Public Toilets, Public Showers, petrol stations charging ports for electric cars, restaurants, cafes, parks, hotels, camping ground...etcApp developers are now more concerned with forcing ads down your throat than with ensuring the app actually works as it should.

But no luck.Too much stuff on the screen I'm looking for a place to stay and all I can find is rubbish bins and atms..needs to default to accom only to start..can't see how to filter also maps app you are asked to install is rubbish and fill of advertsSince the latest update app crashes and won't load.

3. The information is great, usability is OK - it could take some pointers from iOverlander: allow me to show more than one category at once (say, camp sites and dump stations), make offline maps run smoothly as others have said, show unique map icons for camp sites that are now closed.

4. I have offline maps downloaded and have not used the app a great deal but in the past few days it has used around 3gb of data, which is far more than I'd expect for just searching a few campgrounds and public toilet sites each day.

5. And sadly since the last update, offline maps arent downloading properly anymore.Ditch the full screen video ads and I'd give five stars.

6. And for the love of God stop the video ads yelling at me about burger king, that's one-star obnoxious BS.Last version extremely unstable on android when offline.

7. I've just updated (over WiFi) to the latest version, hopefully this problem doesn't continue.Pretty good app for general information.

8. Use both if you want to find the best campsites (and common things like rest stops and day use areas) .

9. Not quite sure why the app is so thirsty for data but at that rate it is unusable as I will rip through my monthly allowance in no time.

10. Ads on the other hand load no issues every time 👌👍.I'm not loving it.

11. I wish I could pay to get rid of the ads, but even then I don't know that I would because I'm finding it difficult to use the filters - hard to tell if they are on or off, especially points of interest, restaurants etc.

1. Fix CamperMate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart CamperMate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the CamperMate App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CamperMate" » Open CamperMate: Au & NZ Road Trip » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CamperMate » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear CamperMate: Au & NZ Road Trip app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CamperMate servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CamperMate: Au & NZ Road Trip" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check CamperMate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CamperMate might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall CamperMate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CamperMate then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CamperMate not working

2. Fix CamperMate Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CamperMate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CamperMate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CamperMate may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
