1. It doesn't plot a route, but if you know a bus number or a T line station, it's really convenient to check arrival times.Note everything I'm saying is pertaining to the commuter rail: The app no longer shows real-time train locations or time estimates.
2. Real time arrival times are sort of the whole point of a bus tracking app, so while this is better than a total shot in the dark, it's not by much.Update(5/27/23): I've been using this app since 2018, The MBTA Tweet alerts no longer show up 😔 I receive a message saying "there was a problem in handling your request.
3. It complements Google maps beautifully, by giving the latest real time best estimates of bus arrival times at every stop.
4. This is likely only a problem at the end of the line which is a major stop (Oak Grove, Braintree, Alewife)Real-time predictions for buses are not always completely accurate because of traffic fluctuations, but as good as you could hope for.
5. Thanks! This is the most convenient MBTA tracker app! Arrival time is very accurate and sometimes even better than Google Maps.
6. Its still a great app 👍🏾Update 3/2/23: still 5 stars! Real world bus situation: This app showed TWO 137 buses arriving at the stop I was running to within 60 seconds of each other.
7. 2 stars instead of 1 because it used to work so I'm holding out hope.Best MBTA Tracker in YEARS! It is accurate down to the second on buses, and that has never been the case on other apps.
8. This has led me to run for a train i thought i had plenty of time to catch (see inaccuracy, above) only to find that i was looking at the wrong direction. This app doesn't appear to actually track buses, but simply report their schedule.
9. Nice! Awesome! I love that when I'm heading to the train I can see real time arrival times and know whether it's worth rushing to the train or not.
10. Once you'll add all buses and T like stations to Favorites, you can quickly check arrival times and choose the most convenient way to ride 👍.
11. My biggest beef is that when you look at a specific station and scroll to, for example, the southbound trains, then check again in like 2 minutes, the app relocates itself to show you the northbound trains.
