Why should I report an Issue with Robson?

1. There have been a couple of times that I almost missed an email about new tasks or redoing recordings.I guess you shouldn't download this app unless you can record in a professional studio that completely masks "static microphone sounds" & " background noises" in order to pass the quality review criteria.

I hope more tasks like these are added as well as more tasks in general as I feel this app has helped me feel more comfortable with doing voice recordings.When I first installed this app and registered, I was able to complete two tasks very soon, and I felt the posted compensation was very fair.

3. For each task I only had to rerecord a couple of the audio clips, and the tasks were generally easy and at tbose payment rates well worth the time spent doing them.

4. Expect that speaking to the phone's mic WITHOUT a wired mic will introduce ambient noise diminishing the recording quality, possibly rendering it too poor for acceptance.

5. Due to not leaving enough silence of at least 2 seconds before and after and background noise, I had to do the tasks over quite a few times.

6. I've spent HOURS recording in a completely silent room only to get asked to re-record all 275 recordings.

7. I did not notice any significant background noise or other issues, but, then again, my ears are not what they used to be, so I was happy to re-record in absolute quiet using better microphone positioning.

8. It's a fun and easy way to make a little extra cash (emphasis on fun).I've taken part in 2 recording tasks.

9. It would be nice to get push notifications instead of just an email for new tasks and recordings that need to be redone, though.

10. They said it was due to background noise and not leaving 1.5 seconds before and after talking in each recording.

11. At first Iwas frustrated but since I enjoy doing this, I kept at it and now my task has passed quality assurance and as such has been approved.

1. Fix Robson Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Robson: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Robson App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Robson" » Open Robson » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Robson » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Robson app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Robson servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Robson" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Robson app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Robson might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Robson. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Robson then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Robson not working

2. Fix Robson Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Robson be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Robson not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Robson may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
