About LiveViewer for Android

1. LiveViewer for Android is the App that projects Android device screen from Maxell's projectors on the same wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired network. - Screen Projection: Project your Android device screen from the projector. - Projector Discovery: This function automatically searches projectors on the same network. - Presenter Mode: If you set the Presenter Mode, you can prevent other people from projecting their desktop screens. - Image Quality setting: Select the image quality during the projection from 3 modes. - Aspect setting: Select aspect ratio during the projection from 2 modes. - Can be a client for the Moderator Control Mode. *1 Copyright protected contents might not be projected. *2 To use the features, you need to use the Infrastructure Mode with internet. *3 If the Image quality priority is selected, the smoothness in the movement of a video might be worse. *4 You can be a moderator by using the LiveViewer for Windows.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LiveViewer Issues

1. Fix LiveViewer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LiveViewer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LiveViewer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LiveViewer" » Open LiveViewer for Android » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LiveViewer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LiveViewer for Android app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LiveViewer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LiveViewer for Android" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LiveViewer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LiveViewer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LiveViewer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LiveViewer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LiveViewer not working


2. Fix LiveViewer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LiveViewer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LiveViewer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LiveViewer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
