1. Yearly is best value for your money, but I digress.Love this app! I really like the grid design and how it helps to journal about every part of your life.

2. I have a habit of only journaling about personal things or things happening at work, but forget to include other areas like family, relationships, wellness and finances.

5. A couple things I think would make it significantly better: 1) Have a web app 2) Be able to setup a random gratitude question as part of a template.

6. Support on website doesn't work (if you try to message them it says "It looks like the email isn't quite right" for no reason and won't send your inquiry.

7. While you can select a random question, very few apply to gratitude.I love this app.

8. I tried all my normal ones, and the don't work, or so I think since there is no change: No wrong pin, not even a shaking of the pin input field.

9. Definitely not worth using.It has most of the things I need in a journal.

10. However, twice in the month I've been using it all my journal entries for a day have dissapeared.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Grid Diary Issues

1. Fix Grid Diary Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Grid Diary: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Grid Diary App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Grid Diary" » Open Grid Diary - Journal, Planner » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Grid Diary » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Grid Diary - Journal, Planner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Grid Diary servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Grid Diary - Journal, Planner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Grid Diary app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Grid Diary might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Grid Diary. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Grid Diary then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Grid Diary not working


2. Fix Grid Diary Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Grid Diary be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Grid Diary not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Grid Diary may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
