1. (They do have premium plans though.) I've been using the free version forever, and customer service was very responsive the rare times I had an issue.This has been one of the only free vpns that actually deliver decent bandwidth for me.

2. Multihop - Double VPN is maxium protection.An excellent free VPN choice, and a pretty decent one if you want all the functionality of the paid version.

3. The one request I have is could you please add Google TV ( Google's new front end for Android TV ) to the list of apps that can bypass the VPN with split tunneling? As of now I think the only system apps you can bypass with split tunneling is the Play Store and Google Play games.

4. One star is generous.I was very satisfied with the hide me app at first it worked great since a few weeks I have nowhere access to the Internet with the VPN servers even after several changes, follow the instructions nothing has brought.

I feel like it could be more descriptive with basically everything in the app (details of each security feature specifically; the amount of traffic- congestion-that any given server is experiencing & its Ul/Dl speeds; cities in particular, as choices for connecting to rather than just sections [East/West/Etc] of countries.

6. I cannot even leave my house and come back in without dropping service, I must log out and in constantly, vpn often disconnects without notice- (kill switch doesnt always function), a huge issue while banking etc.

7. I use it a lot, being able to choose from a variety of free & in different countries, is invaluable to me.

8. Eeeeerrrr!I'm not able to upgrade to the premium package here but the free VPN that offers is awesome.

9. Free version gives you 2 GB per month, so if you need a free VPN for daily use, this may not be for you.

1. Fix hide.me VPN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart hide.me VPN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the hide.me VPN App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "hide.me VPN" » Open hide.me VPN: The Privacy Guard » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for hide.me VPN » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear hide.me VPN: The Privacy Guard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from hide.me VPN servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "hide.me VPN: The Privacy Guard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check hide.me VPN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, hide.me VPN might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall hide.me VPN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall hide.me VPN then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing hide.me VPN not working
