5. Input the characters to learn in the input box or click on the "microphone" icon for voice input, then click "Input Learning", it will display Chinese stroke orders.

1. I thought it was going to build up your writing skills by having you write simple characters and correcting your stroke order or accuracy, then you'd end up writing harder characters eventually.I am sometimes unsure of the stroke order.

1. Fix Hello Chinese Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hello Chinese: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hello Chinese App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hello Chinese" » Open Hello Chinese » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hello Chinese » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hello Chinese app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hello Chinese servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hello Chinese" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hello Chinese app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hello Chinese might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hello Chinese. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hello Chinese then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hello Chinese not working

2. Fix Hello Chinese Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hello Chinese be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hello Chinese not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hello Chinese may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
