1. NOT USER FRIENDLYI find myself having to wait a full minute to change my status from on duty not driving to break.

2. It still has its moments where it will not sync with full cell service and it doesn't know your location or doesn't have one at all, but for the most part if you do everything to connect in the right order it works fine.This app has been a beta test for 3 years.

3. Your customer service may be better but your product needs much improvement.I've noticed some issues in the past couple years like mentioned in previous reviews but with the latest updates it has been working great.

4. Some guys, it doesn't even open, it constantly disconnects, it leaves guys in driving when it's supposed to be "automatic" status changing.

5. Won't stay connected to the truck for more than 5 minutes and it doesn't know my location, even though i've checked my location settings multiple times.

6. I find myself having to wait five to ten minutes to change my status to off duty at the end of the day.

7. Doesn't change to driving, stays in whatever status you have.

8. Connection issue, PDF file genration, DVIR issue, and new trailer adding space issue is making harderto work with this app.

9. Very impressed with the progress made on this ELD.App keeps opening even when i shut it off, it'll re open at all hours of the day and ask me to turn on bluetooth.

10. It's just bad I'm sorry for you if you've been stuck with this app because it's what your company is using.Worst ELD I have used.

11. Even I changed phone device to apple.Forced to use this app by my company, so far not happy with it at all.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix VisTracks Issues

1. Fix VisTracks Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart VisTracks: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the VisTracks App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VisTracks" » Open VisTracks » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VisTracks » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear VisTracks app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VisTracks servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VisTracks" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check VisTracks app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VisTracks might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall VisTracks. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VisTracks then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VisTracks not working


2. Fix VisTracks Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VisTracks be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VisTracks not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VisTracks may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
